Jupiter Island Residence
Island Tradition
GONE GLOBAL
For this extraordinary Jupiter home, Angela returned to her roots as an antique shop owner in London’s Kings Road. Traveling with her clients to London and Paris for unique home finds, this home’s eclectic edge was directed by sumptuous, one-of-a-kind acquisitions. Throughout the first floor, custom designed Oushak rugs brought a grounding identity. The kitchen, with its oak panels and buffalo-horned hardware was given import with chisel-edged soapstone countertops against a muted sage backdrop.
A De Gournay Delight
Hand painted Designer wallpaper packs a punch in this butler’s pantry.
"Architecture should speak of its
time and place, but yearn for
timelessness." — Zaha Hadid
“I don’t just decorate a home, I think about how you want to live as an
extension of your personal reveries.”
Icey blue grey marble is book matched to create symmetrical patterns on each wall and a diamond book back detail on the floor. Angela says “Good design is often found at the transition from one material to the next. Curated intricate details is how luxury is defined all while looking effortless and approachable .” And add more of the master bathroom and closet photos. Angela found these beautiful Murano pair of mirrors at Fortuny while vacation in Venice.
The guest house is a crisp and fun take on tropical so that the ember of island living is imbued in the walls and accessories which include large vases filled with tropical green leaves and open shelves brimming with objects and souvenirs collected along well-traveled roads.
The upstairs rooms have a fresh, airy feel that is more contemporary than the rest of the home, while still remaining current.
